Welcoming Our Special Guests

We at Murray's Monster Bash are working to create an environment where children of all capabilities can enjoy the festival.  The following lists things we hope to incorporate.  A final, confirmed list will be available when we get closer to the festival dates:

1. FOOD ALLERGY CONSIDERATIONS:  Teal pumpkins displayed at trunk or treat cars or booths will be placed to let those who have food allergies know that the distributor has special items available for trick or treat, such as small toys or stickers, in lieu of candy.

2.  SENSORY HOUR; From 3 pm to 4 pm each day we will observe 'Sensory Hour'.  During this time the festival will operate without intentional music, announcements or other loud noises in consideration of those who may need or want a quieter experience while visiting the event.

3. SENSORY ACTIVITES:  At the Wright Hotel, special activities are planned to entertain those with noise sensitivities who would like to continue enjoying Halloween activities after the conclusion of Sensory hour.

4.  ACCESSIBILITY:  Most areas of Chatsworth City Park are wheelchair accessible, and there are wheelchair ramps at both the Wright Hotel and the Dreadful Depot.  Wheelchair uses may opt to travel to the dreadful depot on user friendly sidewalks between the park and the Depot and Hotel, or enjoy special vehicle parking privileges at either one.
